How do we work?

Services Department

This department carries out all official communication and processes for FEFE (Fundación Tripartita para la Formación en el Empleo) -Tripartite Foundation for Training at Work- and other official organisms and entities.

R & D + I Department

The functions of this department are:

  • Developing new training products.
  • Exploring and developing new pedagogic resources.
  • Advising customers on: detection of training needs, elaboration of training plans, evaluation of training impact, etc.
  • Elaborating training manuals for in-company training.
  • Elaborating welcome plans.

Management – Direction

Management’s main function is establishing general policies and strategies for Cief, setting objectives and constantly following them up to make sure they are achieved. Along these lines, Management is responsible for relations with institutions that allow obtaining resources. Other Management functions are establishing and following up Quality, Human Resources, Financial and Communication and Corporate Image policies.

Coordination Department

This department is structured in several training areas: Languages, Computing and New Technologies, Technical, Risk Prevention and Environment, and Human Resources-Selection. Each area is led by a coordinator who watches over the development of training. The coordinators’ functions can be summed up as follows: selecting, assigning and welcoming our teachers, giving trainers the material they need (computers, books, projectors, etc.), and solving any incident that might arise before, during, and after a training.

Computer - Information Technology Department

The computer department has the following functions:

  • Upkeep of centralised servers for Files, Mail, Web, E-Learning and Databases.
  • Preparation, upkeep and control of laptops used for Training &/or Consultancy Projects.
  • Dealing with suppliers of Hardware, Telecommunications and Computer supplies.
  • Internal computer support to users in the Barcelona offices and remote support to other branches.

Communications Department

The department carries out, among other functions, the following:

  • Observance of legal requirements on communication and databases.
  • Upkeep of the corporate website.
  • Publishing of electronic communications bulletins.
  • Ensuring customer loyalty.
  • Press, advertising, and promotions.
  • Research into new informative media and related channels.
  • Promotion and disclosure of collaboration with organisms and institutions.
  • Corporate image and identity.

Commercial Department

Through our commercial network, we contact private companies and public organisms to give them an idea of our services and products. We also give direct, personalised support to all our customers.

Administration Department

The administration department carries out the functions that follow: on one hand, it is in charge of all questions related to Human Resources (issuing and paying payrolls, attendances, holidays, contracts, etc.) and on the other hand, invoicing for our company, management of suppliers, accounting, etc

Cief counts on a professional, qualified team, with a clear and constant will to service and innovation. Our personnel is structured in specialised departments, to cover the different needs of our customers in their various function areas.

Following you will find a short description of the functions carried out by each of our departments:

Telemarketing Department

The telemarketing channel carries out the following functions: support for the commercial network by means of phone-in campaigns, attracting and prospecting of potential customers, promotion and attracting of students for our “open” trainings and occupational training. This is also the means to contact candidates for a selection process.
